Frequently asked questions
Short answers about plans, agent setup, channels, and what happens when you stop working.
Does signing up start a paid agent?
No. Signup creates an account. LaunchPad needs its own active subscription before it can launch Hermes or OpenClaw. The homepage waitlist is also separate from account creation.
Which price should I expect?
The homepage and pricing page disagree. The current LaunchPad definitions are $29/month for a Solo plan and $49/month for Bundle. The homepage advertises a different $10 offer. Check the exact checkout amount and contact support if the offer is unclear.
Does Sleep cancel my subscription?
No. It stops an agent machine. Open wakes a provisioned agent. Subscription cancellation is a separate billing action. Back up files you need before cancelling; workspace availability after cancellation is not guaranteed.
Can I use my own provider?
The agent dashboard offers Connect sub instructions and a separate API key panel for OpenRouter, Anthropic, OpenAI, and xAI. Provider account limits and charges still apply. A detected subscription and a saved API key follow different paths, and neither should be treated as a promise of unlimited compute.
Are credits the same as wallet dollars?
No. Older chat uses integer credits, the proxy wallet uses dollars with a 40% markup, and LaunchPad tracks active hours plus pooled inference dollars. They are stored separately. A positive balance in one does not guarantee access through another.
Can I connect every advertised channel here?
The older configuration screen has Telegram, Discord, and WhatsApp flows. The shared connector defines Slack too, but the current screen has no Slack form. These routes use the older OpenClaw sandbox and main-account plan checks, rather than the LaunchPad workspace record.
Where do I get help with a failed action?
Use the troubleshooting guide first. If the action still fails, email support with the error and the page you were using. Leave credentials and private session data out of your report.
